John Sugar has been in broadcasting for 25 years producing programmes at BBC Radio 1, made series and shows for Radio 2, was a key producer at The BBC World Service and launched 6 Music as programme Editor in 2001 and ran the network for four years. He is currently a director at ‘Sugar Productions’ providing programmes for BBC Radio and is a preferred provider at Radio 4. Radio Valley is vital to making radio a competitive force in a changing broadcasting landscape and is John’s key project along with a passion for a better world and global peace.
Alan Rowett is one of the UK's leading producers and presenters with encyclopedic musical knowledge. Starting with 10 years in ILR, he spent 15 years at the BBC working at Radio 4, BBC World Service Music Unit and producing revealing documentaries and programmes for BBC Radio 1 and Radio 2. In 2006 he formed ‘Rotation Media’ and continues to produce the weekly chart for BBC World Service and has also returned to presenting programmes for ILR. Alan is a director of Radio Valley and a man whose energies and ambitions would appear to be limitless.
